Once a freight rail district, it’s now a six-block stretch of restored masonry, rooftop bars, and chef-driven restaurants. Most of our picks fall within a 0.3-mile walk of the hotel, which means you can step outside, have dinner, catch a show, and be back in your room without ever opening a rideshare app.
A few of our favorite picks are worth the short trip out. Broadway and the lower downtown corridor, a fifteen-minute walk or five-minute rideshare from the hotel, hold the city’s biggest music landmarks: the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash Museum, and the Ryman Auditorium. A little further afield, 12 South and Hillsboro Village deliver the neighborhood breakfast experience Nashville is famous for, and Centennial Park’s Parthenon makes for an easy morning walk or run.
